Creativity and Innovation: 1.b Create original works as a means of personal or group expression.

Task/Lesson ideas: I think a great idea for something like this would be to incorporate music across the curriculum. Poetry and songs have so many parallels, why not create a rap or song for poetry, or do something like Rocking The Standards where kids create songs to help reinforce content for a particular subject.

Creativity and Innovation: 1.c use models and simulations to explore complex systems and issues.

Task/Lesson ideas: I think that Google Sketchup would be a great fit for this. Obviously, models can be created and displayed to showcase various new ideas through it's natural interface. Couple this with some Google Earth maps to explore real life scenarios or places, or perhaps in a class where students are asked to create a new product to improve the quality of life for a specific group of people. Or perhaps using Augmented Reality to demonstrate these items in real life. Lots of fun and potential.

Communication & Collaboration: 2.b. communicate information and ideas effectively to multiple audiences using a variety of media and formats.

Task/Lesson ideas: For lessons, students could present ideas in various media types (audio only, audio and still pictures, Presentations (perhaps prezi), Voicethreads, etc. The key to the effective parts (I feel) would be to have some sort of evaluation (in the form of Google Forms) so that each various type of media could be rated for it's effectiveness in the new format.

Research & Information Fluency: 3.d process and report results

Task/Lesson ideas: I think a natural fit for this would be the use of Google Forms as a means for students to gather and analyze data. Key points would be to the discussions around the how their questions (they ask when collecting data) might change over time to give a different set of data points they wish to evaluate. The survey subject might change, but the use of Google forms (with data validation) might prove to be an effective tool for students.
